Allergic reactions are quite common these days. Eyelash extension glue contains chemical compounds that in rare cases cause an allergic reaction.
These include itching, swelling, discharge of purulent/yellowish discharge, long-lasting redness, and discomfort in the eyes.
Common professional adhesive formulations:
1.
Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate
Methoxyethylcyanoacrylate
Polyalkylmethacrylate
(I use glue with this composition - less allergens - most used in my work)
2.
Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate
2-Methoxyethyl 2-cyanoacrylate
Polymethylmethacrylate
Carbon black
(I use glue with this composition - fewer allergens)
3.
Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate
2-Methoxyethyl 2-cyanoacrylate
Polymethylmethacrylate
Rubber (latex)
Carbon black
❔When should I come to test the glue beforehand?
• If you have had a previous unpleasant experience with an allergic reaction after having eyelash extensions applied.
• You have sensitive eyes to climate change and various environmental changes.
• You have experienced other allergic reactions in your body.
❔How is the procedure performed and what does it cost?
Everything happens just like in a real installation!
Again, to prevent an allergic reaction as much as possible during full installation.
• Lie comfortably with your eyes closed and relax to soothing music.
• Eyelashes are washed with a special eyelash washing foam.
• The lower lashes are covered with a delicate under-eye pad.
• A pre-treatment product is applied to the eyelashes.
• Individual extensions similar to natural lashes are placed in the inner and outer corners. You can also choose brown shades!
• Duration 20-30 minutes
• 10€
❕After the procedure, the reaction must be monitored for 48 hours. It is also important to inform the technician about what is happening!
