Are eyelash extensions the best choice for you?

Eyelash extensions have the ability to make the look beautiful and expressive, but to be honest - eyelash extensions may not be suitable for everyone. Here I do not mean only the aesthetic side, but rather physiological reasons.
Here I will share some of the most common situations where I strongly recommend that you think carefully and consult with me before choosing a beauty service. A prior consultation is always included with every service, regardless of the situation.
If you have a constant and uncontrollable habit of rubbing your eyes or touching and pulling your eyelashes.
Constant rubbing of the eyes, touching and pulling of the eyelashes (from a state of stress, an uncontrolled reflex of the body) damages the natural eyelashes and causes irritation in the eyes. If the extension material is applied to the natural eyelashes and the eyes are rubbed with it, it is more likely that the natural eyelashes will also be pulled out.
If you have a sensitivity or allergic reaction to the ingredients in the glue.
Are you aware of the sensitivity of your eyes and skin, allergic or do you already have a known diagnosis that you are allergic? Allergies are a serious topic and should definitely not be avoided for the sake of beauty goals. I am also allergic myself, but fortunately not to the materials that I use in my creations and work. On the topic of allergies, if you wish, I will explain the given situations and topics separately.
If you do not want or are unwilling to commit to aftercare.
You invest your money and time in the installation of eyelash extensions. Now it's your choice whether it's a so-called one-time project (graduation party, trip, etc.) or you want to be constantly adorned with a more intense, expressive pair of eyes and free yourself from the annoying use of mascara and nightly removal (not the best for our delicate skin under the eyes). Eyelash extensions need regular maintenance by a master and daily attention, fortunately not much. You need to invest in eyelash washing foam, visit the master every 2.5-3 weeks to maintain the growth of eyelash extensions and a beautiful, even result. It's also ok if you can't attend maintenance regularly, you just come back for installation.
If you have certain eye diseases and/or health conditions.
Alopecia or other physical conditions that cause thinning eyelashes, including chemotherapy, require consultation with a specialist (not a family doctor) before applying eyelash extensions. Eye diseases that require the use of appropriate eye ointments can affect the durability of eyelash extensions. I have had clients who are also undergoing a course of eye ointment. In this case, only eyelash extensions were applied to the outer corners or a Lash Lift, i.e. permanent training of natural eyelashes, was performed.
If your natural eyelashes are very short, sparse and brittle.
There are different approaches here. Going through a course of the appropriate serum before the application (and continuing it while wearing the eyelash extensions) has helped, but I have also had to say no to the application of eyelash extensions. You need to consult, everyone's situation is individual.
If you are not sure whether eyelash extensions are the right choice for you, contact me for a consultation. During the consultation, we can map out the situation and find a solution.
